Don't cry!

Here's a picture of your blogger trying to come up with something to write and hitting a wall. It's been that way of late. No apologies though.
In reality this was taken by my father moments after he put me on one of these springy rocking horses which i did not like so much. It's good to know he had the sense to snap this photo instead of consoling me.
Dads. Ya gotta love 'em.

Was this taken the same evening he had the conversation with you about your sexual orientation whilst sporting a pair of moth-eaten Hanes jockey shorts?

No, that was the night he was holding court in front of the bar to a bunch of LaCrosse college kids who were eating it up - laughing along to his stories and calling him Art. This was almost surreal for me to watch when i came outside the bar. My dad and his new posse of twenty somethings and street teeners. He was on a roll that night and enjoying the hell out of it. And so were these kids. AND his American Legion buddies who we were drinking with that night. All up in Wisconsin for a golf outing that weekend.
